Tennis training FAQ
What is Cue?
Cue is the first AI-assisted tennis training app for iPhone built with a professional tennis player and coach. It connects live camera coaching, practice video analysis, technique tips and progress tracking so players can choose what to work on in their next session.
Can I use live coaching or upload a tennis video?
Cue supports both workflows: use the live camera during practice for technique feedback, or upload a recorded practice clip to review later. Video review lets you trim clips into reps and examine technique feedback in the replay.
What technique feedback and progress does Cue show?
Cue supports forehand and backhand practice, with all-around training and focused drills for guide arm placement, relaxed shoulder, power position, split step and footwork, and racket drop. Review technique feedback for individual reps, including backhand step-in, and see technique consistency percentages, training milestones, and growth areas ordered by priority. Track your progress across recorded practice sessions to choose what to work on next.
How is Takuya Komura involved?
Japanese professional tennis player and private coach Takuya Komura contributed training expertise to Cue’s live coaching. His on-court demonstrations also appear in the technique tips, helping players see the movement behind a cue.
Is Cue available on the App Store?
Cue will be available on the App Store in November. Select the App Store badge to join the email waitlist. We’ll email subscribers when the app launches.
